Social Media & Content Manager

About the role

The Social Media & Content Manager will own DICHIT’s social‑media presence, content strategy and community engagement. Working closely with the Creative Head, Growth Lead and product teams, you will create platform‑specific content, publish posts and analyse performance to drive audience growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social‑media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms, defining audience, content pillars and publishing approach.
• Create original content in Malayalam and English, including posts, captions, carousel copy, video scripts and short‑form educational material.
• Prepare creative briefs, coordinate with the Creative Head and external freelancers, and ensure assets are ready for scheduled publishing.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions, maintaining brand tone and routing enquiries to appropriate teams.
• Support B2B partner launches and co‑branded campaigns by planning content, collecting assets and aligning with brand guidelines.
• Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement and lead contribution, producing weekly and monthly reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience managing social‑media accounts and content calendars.
• Strong writing and editing ability in both Malayalam and English.
• Demonstrated ability to develop original ideas and convert them into platform‑specific content.
• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant social‑media and content work.
