SEO Specialist (1-2 yrs) – Bangalore

About the role

DigitalDC is seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented SEO Specialist to join its digital marketing team in Bangalore. The role focuses on improving organic visibility for D2C and e‑commerce brands through data‑driven SEO strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Implement on‑page SEO optimizations including meta tags, headings, internal linking, URL structures and image optimization.
• Perform basic technical SEO tasks such as indexing, redirects, sitemap updates, page‑speed checks and broken‑link audits.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console and produce regular SEO reports.
• Support off‑page activities, including backlink research and tracking.
• Collaborate with content, design and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on SEO experience with a solid understanding of on‑page, off‑page and basic technical SEO.
• Strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for staying up‑to‑date with SEO trends.
