Senior Production Supervisor (Executive Level)

About the role

The Senior Production Supervisor leads a production area, ensuring safe, efficient and quality-driven operations. This role is responsible for people management, training, certification, and continuous improvement within the assigned perimeter.

Key responsibilities

• Induct and train new employees, including temporary staff, and develop multi‑skill training plans.
• Monitor absenteeism, holidays, safety compliance, and update performance boards daily.
• Enforce standard breaks, meetings, and validate operators' working time on the shop floor.
• Conduct monthly objective reviews, annual appraisals, salary reviews and career interviews.
• Maintain and update work instructions, ensure compliance with safety, quality, 5S and TPM standards.
• Perform daily OJT, equipment performance checks, cycle‑time measurements and address abnormalities.
• Propose weekly headcount and organization plans, manage production to meet SQCDM and inventory targets.
• Escalate issues, coordinate with support functions and supply chain to resolve production problems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising production teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive social climate.
• Excellent analytical abilities to monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Good communication skills for monthly meetings and cross‑functional coordination.
