Senior Process Engineer – Injection Moulding

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to develop, optimise and sustain injection moulding processes that meet quality, productivity, cost and delivery targets. The role supports new product introduction, process validation, continuous improvement and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise injection moulding processes for new and existing products, including set‑up, parameter optimisation and validation.
• Provide technical support to production, troubleshoot moulding defects and drive improvements in cycle time, productivity, machine utilisation and OEE.
• Prepare and maintain PFMEA, process flow diagrams, control plans, SOPs, validation and trial reports.
• Lead Kaizen, Lean and Six‑Sigma projects to reduce cost, eliminate waste and implement poka‑yoke solutions.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, support audits, PPAP/APQP activities and conduct root‑cause analysis using 8D, 5‑Why and FMEA.
• Coordinate with tool room, quality, maintenance, planning and NPI teams and train operators on process standards.
• Promote EHS, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 compliance and champion 5S and workplace safety.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, Production or Plastics Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in injection moulding process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead NPI projects from RFQ to mass production.
