Senior Operations Support Officer

About the role

The Senior Operations Support Officer works closely with Relationship Credit, Relationship Management and product partners to deliver timely, accurate lending facility set‑up and collateral management for institutional customers. The role ensures that letters of offer are validated, facilities are entered into core banking systems, and stakeholder enquiries are handled efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to provide superior customer and banker support.
• Review and validate returned Letters of Offer to ensure compliance with execution requirements and policy.
• Set up lending facilities in core systems such as Loan IQ, Orion and Razor, ensuring data accuracy.
• Maintain workflow tools (LoO Return Workbench, OCP, peer output) with up‑to‑date information.
• Conduct quality reviews of peer output and identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide timely, professional responses to stakeholder enquiries and communicate processing status updates.
• Support business continuity activities and ensure compliance with documented processes and Edge accreditation.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in operations support within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of lending facilities, collateral management and related documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on risk identification and process improvement.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with core banking systems such as Loan IQ.
• Familiarity with Orion.
• Familiarity with Razor.
