Senior Manager Process & Controls Monitoring

About the role

The Senior Manager Process & Controls Monitoring leads the optimisation of the division’s control‑monitoring approach. Using data‑driven methods, you will assess control design, highlight non‑compliance and translate findings into clear remediation actions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead independent, risk‑based controls testing to evaluate design and operating effectiveness of key business processes.
• Identify control weaknesses, compliance breaches, emerging risks and thematic issues, and drive timely escalation and remediation.
• Apply data analytics, automation and digital tools to enhance monitoring coverage and assurance outcomes.
• Produce actionable insights, dashboards and governance reports to support risk‑based decision‑making.
• Partner with business owners, control owners and risk specialists to strengthen the end‑to‑end control environment.

Required profile

• Senior‑manager level experience in risk, controls or non‑financial risk functions.
• Proven ability to lead testing design, automation and coverage initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, engaging up to senior and head‑of levels.
