Senior Manager Finance Transformation

About the role

A key aspect of this role will be leading finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing finance processes for the Pune Finance GCC and supporting the transition of finance activities from the UK, US and other geographies. The successful candidate will bring hands‑on experience in process optimisation, standardisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain end‑to‑end finance process documentation, SOPs and governance frameworks for AP, AR and R2R functions.
• Drive service delivery performance by developing KPIs, SLAs and operational dashboards, and resolving bottlenecks.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes.
• Partner with IT and automation teams to deploy ERP enhancements, AI, RPA and workflow solutions.
• Act as primary liaison between the GCC and global finance stakeholders, facilitating governance meetings and performance reviews.
• Ensure processes operate within control frameworks, support audit requirements and monitor regulatory compliance.
• Lead migration of finance processes into the GCC, overseeing knowledge transfer, training and change communications.
• Develop and coach finance operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 15+ years of finance operations experience in a global or shared‑services environment.
• Strong understanding of AP, AR and R2R processes and proven experience in process optimisation and automation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams, establish KPIs/SLAs and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills with a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
