Senior iOS Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior iOS Software Engineer will design, develop and maintain secure, scalable, high‑performing iOS applications that align with the organization’s digital products and business goals. Working as a senior individual contributor within the iOS squad, you will drive complex technical work, support architectural decisions and mentor less‑experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain iOS mobile applications.
• Contribute to and uphold technical architecture, coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Translate product and business requirements into clear technical solutions and sprint‑ready tasks.
• Collaborate with product management, UI/UX, backend, QA and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in estimation, sprint planning, solution design and technical decision‑making.
• Ensure code is maintainable, reusable, testable and complies with quality, security and performance standards.
• Identify and resolve complex issues, performance bottlenecks and production incidents.
• Oversee build, testing, deployment, version control and App Store release processes.
• Evaluate emerging iOS technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proven experience in mobile application architecture and iOS development.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a senior contributor and mentor team members.
