Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance professional to support the site’s financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities. The role will ensure accurate management control, cost accounting and gross‑margin analysis while collaborating with product lines and regional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reporting elements, budgets, business plans and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance versus forecast and budget on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain accurate management control and costing data in the site’s SAP ERP system.
• Validate gross‑margin and expense figures during month‑end closing.
• Contribute to the annual budget and multi‑year planning process.
• Produce monthly financial performance dashboards with key KPIs such as overdue payments, inventory and sales.
• Alert the Financial Controller promptly of any significant risks.
• Coordinate with product lines and regional operations to ensure correct GPS module operation.
• Approve e‑procurement requests and support continuous improvement of the IS module.
• Apply Valeo’s ethics and compliance policies in daily activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance reporting, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compare actual results to forecasts.
• Good knowledge of standard costing techniques.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Ability to work under tight month‑end deadlines and communicate findings to management.
• High level of integrity and adherence to corporate ethics.
