Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Front Line Manager (Manufacturing)

About the role

The position is responsible for supervising shift operations within a value stream, leading shop‑floor associates, and ensuring efficient value creation in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production setup according to the schedule, assign tasks, and follow standard procedures, BPS and work instructions to meet SQCD targets.
• Conduct daily safety and quality checks, document shift events (attendance, breakdowns, quality issues, performance) and hand over concise reports to the next shift.
• Track production performance using KPIs such as OEE, FPY, scrap, tool life and levelling; identify deviations and coordinate corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor and coach entry‑level associates, maintain shop‑floor discipline, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising shift operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and shop‑floor standards.
• Ability to analyse performance data and implement corrective measures.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop shop‑floor teams.
