Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Agentic AI & SOC

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design and deliver next‑generation Security Operations Center (SOC) solutions that combine SIEM, XDR and SOAR platforms with AI and large language model (LLM) automation. The role blends hands‑on engineering with client‑facing delivery, focusing on agent‑based AI systems that improve threat detection, investigation and response.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI‑driven SOC architectures integrated with SIEM, XDR and SOAR tools.
• Develop AI use cases for alert triage, investigation, incident summarisation and automated response.
• Build and optimise detection use cases using rule‑based and AI‑assisted methods.
• Integrate LLM capabilities into SOC workflows, including analysis, correlation and playbooks.
• Support platform deployment, migration and tuning across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, CrowdStrike or Splunk environments.
• Operationalise threat intelligence into detection pipelines and reduce noise through automation.
• Collaborate with clients on solution design, create architecture diagrams, playbooks and technical documentation.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC engineering, detection and response.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective client communication skills.
• Proven experience designing and delivering SOC solutions at an enterprise level.
