Senior Customer Engineer - Security (Microsoft Azure)

About the role

Beyondsoft, a mid-sized business IT and consulting company with offices across North America, South America, Europe and Asia, is looking for a Senior Customer Engineer specializing in Microsoft security. The role covers Microsoft Azure infrastructure, identity management and enterprise networking, and suits someone with deep technical expertise in Azure and Windows environments who can design, implement, troubleshoot and secure complex enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, security, identity and networking solutions.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, authentication, access governance, MFA, Conditional Access and enterprise SSO.
• Support Azure networking such as VPN, ExpressRoute, firewalls, WAF, load balancing, Private Link and network security.
• Administer and secure Windows Server, Windows client environments, Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Desktop and failover clustering.
• Support Azure Local, Azure Stack, SAP on Azure, Azure VMware Solution and hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement infrastructure automation and management with Azure Bicep, Terraform, Azure Arc and Azure management tools.
• Support cloud migration, disaster recovery and business continuity with Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and give technical guidance to enterprise customers.

Required profile

• 10-15 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and security engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server and Azure networking.
• Experience with hybrid identity, enterprise authentication, PKI/certificate services and infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of cloud automation, infrastructure as code, virtualization, migration and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
