Senior Angular Front‑End Developer (5+ yrs)

About the role

UST is looking for a Senior Angular Front‑End Developer to join its Chennai team. The role focuses on creating responsive, high‑performance user interfaces while collaborating with product, QA and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive UI components using Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI or Django.
• Containerize applications and services using Docker, write Dockerfiles and manage images.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver features.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability and security issues in production.
• Ensure compliance with HTTP standards, web security best practices and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Integrate Generative AI APIs and frameworks where applicable.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• 5+ years building backend services with Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and container workflows.
• Familiarity with Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI GPT or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, web security and cross‑browser issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
