Security Consultant – Intelligence & Operations

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant specialized in Intelligence & Operations to help client IT teams understand and mitigate security risks. You will work closely with leading enterprises, applying IBM’s security platforms and threat intelligence to protect their hybrid cloud and AI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and recommend security strategies, programs, and mitigation measures based on security principles and counter‑threat intelligence.
• Enhance client security posture through proactive threat hunting and intelligence‑driven defense.
• Communicate IBM’s Security Intelligence and Operations Center (SIOC) and SIEM capabilities, including financial implications.
• Analyze and mitigate cyber threats using tools such as QRadar.
• Collaborate with client IT teams to understand their security needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Experience with security intelligence, threat analysis, and counter‑threat intelligence.
• Proven ability to develop security strategies and programs.
• Familiarity with major cybersecurity frameworks.
