Sector Expert Civil II – Design

About the role

Surbana Jurong is looking for a Sector Expert Civil II (Design) to provide senior-level design expertise for civil engineering projects within the construction sector. The role is based in Bangalore and will support a range of infrastructure initiatives, including railway and metro rail projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review civil engineering design work for construction projects.
• Ensure design solutions comply with industry standards and client specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners such as RITES, IRCON, RVNL, Konkan Railway, MRVC, DFCCIL and Metro Rail Corporations.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in design.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SE/SSE or equivalent senior grade within civil engineering departments of railway or metro rail organisations.
• Proven experience working with Indian railway entities, JVs or SPVs under the Ministry of Railways.
