SDET 2 – API Automation & Performance Testing

About the role

AiDASH is seeking an SDET 2 to own the quality of its AI-powered applications. You will design and execute test strategies that cover functional behavior and performance, ensuring reliable releases for the company’s grid-resilience platform.

Key responsibilities

• Create comprehensive test strategies for functional and performance validation.
• Develop robust API automation using Java and RestAssured.
• Perform data validation across APIs, Postgres and MongoDB databases.
• Conduct performance testing and benchmarking with JMeter.
• Build automation pipelines in Jenkins and generate detailed reports with ExtentReports or Allure.
• Monitor post-production health using Kubernetes and AWS services.
• Document and manage defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams.
• Contribute to the in-house orchestration platform for data processing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience testing backend applications, especially API and data-validation testing.
• Proficiency in Java (or Python) for test automation.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases like Postgres and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of AWS services and Kubernetes for monitoring services.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
