About the role
The Helper supports the school by providing general cleaning and maintenance services. This role ensures a safe, hygienic environment for students, teachers, and visitors. You will work closely with school staff to keep all areas tidy and well‑maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas.
- Maintain hygiene standards and ensure all spaces meet health and safety requirements.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
- Collaborate with school personnel to address specific cleaning needs.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices and appropriate equipment.
