SAP Test Automation Engineer

About the role

3M is seeking an SAP Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for SAP applications. You will work with global teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable SAP processes across key business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation, maintenance, and execution of SAP test automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca, focusing on scalable, reusable, codeless solutions.
• Implement automated regression, unit, smoke, and end‑to‑end testing for SAP modules such as SD, MM, OTC, and MTD.
• Define automation strategies, test coverage, execution plans, and defect analysis methods to improve testing efficiency and quality.
• Support hands‑free, lights‑out test execution with Tricentis DEX, handling scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, developers, and QA to manage test data, resolve defects, and enhance automation outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in SAP testing, test automation, or enterprise application quality assurance.
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca or similar tools.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams to analyse requirements, document test scenarios, execute test plans, and support issue resolution.
