SAP DVM Lead

About the role

3M is seeking an experienced SAP DVM Lead to drive its Data Volume Management initiatives in Bangalore. The role will focus on designing and delivering SAP data archiving, record retention and compliance solutions while integrating with OpenText and AWS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP Data Volume Management (DVM) deliverables, including data archiving, record retention, compliance and OpenText/SAP‑VIM integration.
• Support ILM and ECM workstreams, assign tasks to DVM team members and track completion.
• Manage DVM projects in TCOE, covering SAP data archiving, lifecycle maintenance and SAP/VIM upgrades.
• Collaborate with vendors, business partners, process leads and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Design, configure, test and document DVM tools while supporting AWS application stack activities with AES and infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, verified before start.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including SAP data archiving and batch job creation using SAP ArchiveLink and SAP ILM.
• Experience with OpenText Archive Server and Content Server, and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, VIM and related ecosystems.
• Prior supervisory or team‑lead experience with task assignment, progress tracking and stakeholder communication.
