Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Center

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join the Gastro Liver Endoscopy Centre in New Delhi. The nurse will deliver direct patient care before, during and after endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety and high‑quality service in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, obtain vital signs and prepare them for endoscopic and related procedures.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids as ordered, maintaining sterile technique throughout.
• Assist physicians during procedures and provide monitoring and recovery support post‑procedure.
• Document all observations, interventions and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on pre‑ and post‑procedure instructions and ongoing care plans.
• Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and adherence to safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Comply with clinic policies, regulatory standards and quality‑assurance requirements.

Required profile

• Valid nursing qualification (GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) with current registration to the relevant nursing council.
• Clinical skills in patient assessment, vital‑sign monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy and post‑procedure care.
• Experience or strong interest in gastroenterology, endoscopy or critical‑care settings; prior work in procedure‑based clinics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of infection control, aseptic techniques and safe handling of endoscopy equipment.
• Strong documentation abilities, attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork and patient education.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple patients and remain calm in urgent situations.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and familiarity with quality and patient‑safety standards.
