Quantity Surveyor - Pre-Contract

About the role

We are a cost consultancy delivering construction projects across Ireland and the UK. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our pre‑contract team at our office in Kochi, India. The role focuses on preparing Bills of Quantities, managing vendor quotations and supporting tender cost evaluations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) following ARM4/ARM5 and NRM measurement standards.
• Perform quantity take‑offs using CostX and Cubit estimating software.
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to subcontractors and suppliers and follow up on returns.
• Evaluate vendor submissions, prepare Tender Cost Evaluations and maintain procurement schedules.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify scope and support package splitting and trade‑level cost planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience with pre‑contract QS workflows, including BOQ preparation and vendor management.
• Strong Excel skills for pricing documents, schedules and cost reports.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
