Public Relations Manager

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will oversee external communications and brand reputation for Iris Cosmetics, working on‑site full‑time in Ahmedabad. The role includes drafting press releases, managing media outreach and building strong relationships with journalists, influencers and key industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases and media statements.
• Manage media outreach and cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate PR campaigns and align messaging with the brand’s strategy.
• Support product launches and events to maximise visibility.
• Monitor media coverage, prepare performance reports and manage crisis communication plans.
• Ensure consistent, inclusive brand storytelling across all communication channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, social media and leadership teams on integrated communication initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong public relations and media relations skills, preferably in beauty, lifestyle or consumer brands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of crafting clear, engaging, brand‑aligned messaging.
• Experience planning and executing PR campaigns, events and product launches.
• Ability to analyse media coverage, track PR performance metrics and adapt strategies based on insights.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory communication and a genuine interest in beauty and cosmetics storytelling.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
