Public Relations Manager – Consumer Communications

About the role

The Public Relations Manager (Consumer) will lead integrated communication initiatives for AVIAN We., building strong media relationships and guiding a team to deliver strategic PR solutions that support client growth and agency positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow senior‑level client relationships, aligning internal and external stakeholders while negotiating expectations.
• Develop and execute integrated communication plans and provide strategic counsel as a trusted advisor.
• Inform, educate, and influence clients on AVIAN’s value and positioning relative to competitors.
• Build awareness of agency capabilities internally and externally, and showcase talent and results.
• Serve as project manager for organic growth or new‑business proposal content and in‑person pitch meetings.
• Identify global, digital, and social communication trends and educate clients on the importance of social media engagement.
• Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact with clients, proactively addressing issues.
• Participate in budget and resource management, tracking team utilization.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to influence business decisions.
• Resolve issues collaboratively and improve processes through technology or workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4‑5 years of experience in integrated communications or public relations, preferably in an agency setting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate image, issues/crisis management, and strategic communications across multiple audience segments.
• Exceptional media‑relations background with proven ability to work with global businesses and key media outlets.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to apply quantitative analysis to data sets.
