Project Manager – Industry

About the role

The Project Manager – Industry will lead third‑party inspection, quality assurance, expediting, project monitoring consultancy and industrial inspection projects for Bureau Veritas. The role ensures delivery within approved timelines, budgets, quality standards and HSE requirements while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, developing schedules, resource and inspection plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including inspectors, surveyors, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Serve as primary client contact, conduct progress meetings and resolve technical queries.
• Implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection & Test Plans and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Plan and allocate surveyors, monitor resource utilization and coordinate with vendors and EPC contractors.
• Control project budgets, revenue, profitability and manage timesheets and billing annexes.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports and maintain document control systems.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities, support proposal preparation and contribute to business growth.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas HSE policies, conduct safety reviews and report incidents.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech/DME in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Metallurgical, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 10‑15+ years of experience in project management, TPI, QA/QC, EPC, PMC or related industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of project management practices, QA/QC systems and inspection methodologies.
• Familiarity with standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, IS, IEC and AWS.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, ERP and project tracking tools.
• Technical knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, IS, IEC and AWS standards.
