Project Manager – HVAC (Applied)

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end execution of Applied HVAC projects across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role demands strong hands‑on expertise in HVAC installation, testing and commissioning, with a mandatory focus on chiller‑based systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of Applied HVAC projects, from design through handover.
• Lead installation, testing and commissioning of chillers, AHUs, pumps, ducting and piping.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, OEMs and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Control project schedules, quality, safety and cost, delivering on time and within budget.
• Direct site teams and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in HVAC project execution and management, specifically with chiller‑based systems.
• Strong knowledge of Applied HVAC systems and proven stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with screw, scroll and centrifugal chillers.
• Proficiency in air handling units (AHUs), pumps, ducting and piping.
• Expertise in HVAC installation, testing and commissioning processes.
