About the role
The school is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to deliver the Mathematics curriculum to primary students. The role involves implementing the school’s quality policy, curriculum, and teaching‑learning strategies under the guidance of the Principal.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in Mathematics, preparing scheme of work, internal assessments and feedback strategies.
- Set and evaluate question papers for term and other examinations, and assess answer scripts judiciously.
- Collaborate with the Primary Coordinator and other teachers to organise co‑curricular activities, parent meetings and orientation sessions.
- Maintain classroom performance records and contribute to both scholastic and co‑scholastic activities.
Required profile
- CCAIE/PYP trained graduate or post‑graduate with a B.Ed degree, specializing in Mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience at the primary level.
- Ability to internalise and implement the school’s quality policy and curriculum guidelines.
