About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom that encourages exploration, creativity, and hands‑on learning.
• Plan and prepare materials for daily activities, projects, and display boards.
• Lead engaging activities such as arts & crafts, music, storytelling, and imaginative play.
• Incorporate technology and hands‑on experiences to reinforce basic concepts.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, preparing reports for parents.
• Communicate regularly with parents through meetings and progress updates.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and ensure children’s well‑being at all times.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to deliver a cohesive learning experience.
• Adhere to school policies, procedures, and educational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• Valid teaching certification or license as required by the state.
• Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and patience to manage a classroom of young children.
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Physical ability to engage in activities with children and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
