Packaging Executive – Manage Factory Packaging Projects

About the role

The Packaging Executive will lead the execution of packaging projects and initiatives at the factory level, ensuring alignment with corporate packaging policies on quality, safety, and compliance. This role focuses on new product development, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead packaging trials and new product introductions, managing line performance, cost, and on‑time delivery.
• Conduct value analysis, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and participate in DMAIC improvement projects.
• Implement packaging quality and compliance directives, and support factory QA in monitoring plans.
• Maintain the GLOBE database of packaging materials and support supplier selection and development.
• Analyze consumer packaging complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Develop shop‑floor competencies through training and “One Point Lessons”.

Required profile

• Graduate engineering degree (Packaging, Mechanics, Industrial, Chemistry, Automation, Materials Science or Printing).
• Hands‑on experience in FMCG packaging development and packaging operations.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with project‑management experience.
