Mobile Software Engineer, Growth & Experimentation

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Software Engineer focused on growth and experimentation to join our remote team in India. You will build, ship, and continuously improve production mobile applications while turning data‑driven insights into product decisions that boost onboarding, activation, retention and monetisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, ship, maintain and iterate on production mobile apps with emphasis on reliability, quality and speed.
• Identify friction points across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, conversion and monetisation journeys.
• Translate product questions and user problems into prototypes, A/B tests and experiments that generate actionable evidence.
• Use product and user data to define success metrics, analyse outcomes and decide next steps.
• Own the full lifecycle from problem definition through design, release, measurement and iteration.
• Collaborate with founders, product, business and technical stakeholders and coordinate with backend, web, data and analytics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production mobile applications for real users on iOS, Android or cross‑platform frameworks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including API design, data modelling, testing, debugging, release practices and production monitoring.
• Hands‑on exposure to growth experimentation, A/B testing or conversion optimisation.
• Experience improving product flows such as onboarding, paywalls, subscriptions, payments or trial‑to‑paid conversion.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving, fully remote environment.
