Media Transfer Operator (MCR)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Media Transfer Operator (MCR) to join WPP Production’s Global Delivery Centre. You will ensure broadcast and digital assets meet technical specifications through quality control, encoding and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ingest, output, and final quality control of video and audio assets for broadcast and digital delivery.
• Encode and transcode media using Adobe Media Encoder to meet international delivery specifications.
• Monitor video scopes, waveforms, and audio levels to ensure technical compliance.
• Review Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects project files for completeness and delivery readiness.
• Manage media uploads/downloads via DAM systems and cloud platforms.
• Ensure accurate file formatting, standards conversion, and timely delivery to broadcasters and clients.

Required profile

• Experience in an MCR, media operations, or post‑production environment.
• Strong knowledge of broadcast QC, international delivery specifications, codecs, formats and compression standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving workflows and technologies.
