Mechanical Engineer

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems, develop and document test reports, and create or modify engineering layouts and specifications for advanced semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering test reports.
• Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications of complex scope.
• Perform engineering analysis of complex scope with limited supervision.
• Technically lead or execute projects; develop key suppliers and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes; enable handling, assembly and disassembly of parts and establish standards across operational processes.
• Specify and review engineering documentation and implement concepts for complex product issues and mechanical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4‑7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics.
• Sheet metal design expertise.
• Material selection and manufacturing methods.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Flow analysis capabilities.
• Design for Excellence principles.
• Understanding of product life‑cycle, prototyping and packaging.
