Manager, Deal Management-2

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Deal Management-2 to join its Business Development Finance team in Gurgaon. The role will drive the development, execution and optimisation of strategic customer agreements across issuers, acquirers and merchants, supporting the company’s corporate strategy and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end development, planning and execution of complex customer agreements in assigned markets.
• Identify and pursue high‑impact business opportunities, translating business needs and regulatory requirements into robust business case models.
• Design profitable deal structures, including for non‑traditional customers and Pan‑European opportunities.
• Conduct detailed contract and financial reviews to ensure alignment with approved business cases.
• Advise European sales teams and senior management on strategic and financial projects.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, tax and finance functions to optimise deal structures.
• Provide training to account teams on business case processes, financial modelling and regulatory updates.
• Perform financial and operational analysis, prepare executive summaries and monitor compliance with agreement commitments.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and business case development.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple high‑priority deals.
• Excellent communication skills for advising senior stakeholders.
