Manager, Business Intelligence – Fraud Investigations, Recovery & Enforcement

About the role

Amazon’s Fraud Investigations, Recovery & Enforcement (FIRE) team is seeking a manager to lead Business Intelligence Engineers and a Data Engineer in building AI‑powered fraud analytics. The role transforms traditional reporting into autonomous, conversational workflows that detect and act on fraud in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire, develop and retain a team of 4 Business Intelligence Engineers and 1 Data Engineer, setting high performance standards.
• Own the BI strategy and roadmap for FinOps fraud prevention, detection and investigation, embedding AI across data ingestion, entity resolution, detection, investigation and reporting.
• Drive the shift from static dashboards to active, conversational agents that automate investigation and disposition.
• Partner with investigators, program managers, Data Science, FinTech and FinAuto to translate fraud problems into agentic analytical solutions.
• Maintain and evolve a scalable fraud data platform that supports billion‑row entity layers and production AI models.

Required profile

• 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing BI or analytics teams, including employee development.
• Proven experience delivering AI‑enabled analytics solutions in large‑scale data environments.
