Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of factory equipment through preventive and corrective actions. Working across electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation domains, the role supports both routine maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to standard procedures, ranging from simple tasks to comprehensive work on PLCs, robots, and manipulators.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, from supervised interventions to autonomous repairs across all technical domains.
• Analyze failure causes, propose improvements, and implement modifications to enhance reliability, capacity, and maintainability.
• Participate in the workshop’s 5S program and Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) activities.
• Maintain accurate intervention logs and contribute to daily, monthly, and improvement meetings.
• Lead or support improvement projects, draft and distribute maintenance procedures, and provide training to colleagues.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or automation systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment under supervision or independently.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers, robots, and manipulators.
• Capability to analyze failures, suggest enhancements, and document actions.
• Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and QRQC.
