About the role
The Lead Trainer will spearhead capacity‑building initiatives that strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) for children from early grades through Grade 5. Working within ETS India, you will combine academic expertise with practical training to improve teaching quality and assessment outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes for teachers, school leaders and academic partners focused on FLN.
- Lead the creation of assessment tools and data‑driven improvement cycles that inform instructional practice.
- Conduct workshops, webinars and on‑site sessions, adapting content to diverse educational contexts.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of training interventions, providing feedback for continuous refinement.
- Collaborate with ETS research and solutions teams to align training with broader measurement initiatives.
Required profile
- Advanced degree in Education, Literacy, Numeracy or a related discipline.
- Proven experience designing and delivering teacher training programmes, preferably at scale.
- Deep understanding of assessment‑led improvement and foundational learning concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders across public‑sector and private‑sector education.

- Data‑analysis for instructional improvement.
