Lead Analyst, Research & Analysis (Large Corporate Banking)

About the role

The Lead Analyst, Research & Analysis supports the Large Corporate Banking franchises in Singapore and the Philippines, working closely with Coverage and Credit Risk teams. You will evaluate creditworthiness, identify emerging risks, and provide recommendations that underpin sound credit decisions and sustainable growth for large corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial, industry and business analysis of large corporate clients.
• Assess risks related to capital structures, liquidity, operating performance, ownership and industry dynamics.
• Prepare high‑quality credit applications, annual reviews and portfolio assessments.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of large corporate relationships, ensuring timely reviews, covenant tracking and credit actions.
• Drive end‑to‑end credit lifecycle activities, including risk grading, approval processes and documentation review.
• Identify emerging portfolio risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations and other stakeholders throughout transaction and portfolio management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit analysis, risk assessment and portfolio management for large corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital structures and industry sectors such as manufacturing, retail, real estate and media.
• Ability to produce rigorous credit documentation and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
