About the role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets and key performance indicators for franchise‑run mono‑brand adidas stores. This role focuses on driving commercial success, profitability and brand consistency across the partner network.
Key responsibilities
- Execute store policies, procedures, visual merchandising standards and in‑store marketing activations.
- Manage store P&L, ensuring profitability for franchise partners.
- Support front‑line retail teams through excellence programs to boost productivity.
- Monitor compliance with global visual merchandising guidelines and enforce re‑order plans.
- Visit franchise locations to assess KPIs, visual standards, and operational performance.
- Provide realistic performance forecasts and develop actionable plans.
- Engage store teams, fostering a retail mindset among franchise partners.
- Collaborate with VM, merchandising and Centre of Excellence teams to implement best practices.
- Coordinate with training teams to deliver world‑class service experiences.
- Ensure buy‑plan execution and pre‑order compliance according to budget.
- Set objectives, strategies and resource allocations to drive franchise performance within the customer portfolio framework.
- Contribute to market expansion and increase adidas market share in the assigned geography.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing P&L and profitability for retail or franchise stores.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising standards and in‑store marketing.
- Ability to analyse sales data, KPIs and develop performance forecasts.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as merchandising, training and operations.
- Excellent communication skills to engage and influence franchise partners.
