Junior SEO Executive

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site position in the Marketing department of GaneshaSpeaks.com. The Junior SEO Executive will be responsible for driving organic traffic to the website through keyword research, on‑page optimisation, link‑building and SEO audits.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and SEO audits using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Optimise metadata, content structure, URLs, internal links and images across landing pages and blogs.
• Support link‑building activities including outreach, guest posting and authority‑building initiatives.
• Monitor rankings, traffic trends and Core Web Vitals; prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Implement schema markup, ensure proper indexation and maintain WordPress SEO setup via plugins like Yoast or Rank Math.
• Collaborate with content, design and development teams to execute SEO recommendations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of SEO experience with strong technical and on‑page knowledge.
• Exposure to eCommerce, SaaS or high‑traffic websites.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress CMS and SEO plugins.
• Solid analytical skills and proficiency with major SEO tools.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and site performance optimisation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
