IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company as the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth operations across hardware, software, and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via email, phone, and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of company systems.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Document tickets, resolutions, and system configurations.
• Support software deployments and updates, ensuring compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track, analyze, and report recurring incidents to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced or customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Software installation and update procedures.
