IT Service Desk – Technical Support (Noida/Chennai)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Service Desk professional to join our team in Noida or Chennai. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, providing first‑line technical support and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to service requests via phone, email or ticketing system, logging and prioritising them.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network and OS issues on desktops, laptops, printers and other devices.
• Perform password resets, account unlocks and other user‑access tasks.
• Log, categorise and escalate incidents according to severity and SLA requirements.
• Install, configure and maintain software applications and hardware for new and existing users.
• Document solutions in the knowledge base and create self‑help guides.
• Monitor system performance and assist with routine maintenance, updates and patches.

Required profile

• High school diploma, associate degree or relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).
• 2‑5 years of experience in a technical support or service desk environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Networking basics: DNS, TCP/IP, VPN.
• Active Directory, email clients, remote desktop tools.
• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Hardware troubleshooting for PCs, laptops and printers.
