Investment Funds Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Attorney to provide legal guidance on fund formation, compliance, and transactional matters on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to support a global investment management leader across a variety of asset classes and fund structures.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate fund documents such as limited partnership agreements, side letters, and subscription agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance under securities laws, ERISA, and tax regulations.
• Conduct due diligence for fund investments and identify potential conflicts of interest.
• Assist with fund closings, capital calls, and distributions.
• Monitor regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance of fund operations.

Required profile

• Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in funds or investment‑management law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle fund formation, compliance, and transactional documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
