Integration Engineer - NodeJS, APIs & DataPower

About the role

ANZ is looking for an Integration Engineer to design, build, test and support integration solutions within the Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) technology area. You will work closely with the Product Owner and squad members to deliver modern, scalable APIs and mediation services that meet customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad to understand requirements, estimate effort and deliver agreed outcomes.
• Work with dependent teams to capture upstream and downstream integration needs.
• Design, build and deliver API and mediation services following enterprise standards, patterns, tools and frameworks.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and incident resolution by identifying root causes and fixing issues.
• Follow production delivery and release processes to deploy integration services.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities within the squad and Engineering Chapter.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience designing and building services with NodeJS and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of integration design patterns and ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with GitHub for source control and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with IBM DataPower for integration and mediation services.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across teams.
• Proactive attitude in identifying, escalating and resolving issues end‑to‑end.
