Information Technology System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to lead infrastructure excellence and operational continuity at Forest Essentials. The role involves managing enterprise‑grade servers, networks, security, and Microsoft 365 services to support retail, e‑commerce and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain high‑availability server infrastructure, including patch management, backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Provide first‑line and escalation support for IT incidents, ensuring SLA compliance and root‑cause analysis.
• Administer Cisco switching (9300/9500), wireless controllers, VPN devices and Palo Alto firewalls, handling policy and firmware updates.
• Manage Microsoft 365 ecosystem – Exchange Online, Teams, Intune – and Active Directory user access.
• Monitor system performance, capacity planning and implement cloud resources on Azure or AWS.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, configuration management database and audit documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities, develop monitoring alerts and drive DevOps/infrastructure‑as‑code initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Professional.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing enterprise‑level Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
