Information Security Engineer II

About the role

Mastercard’s Business Security Enablement Guild is seeking a Security Engineer II to help embed security across the organization. You will work with internal customers to evaluate third‑party software, apply security principles, and leverage AI to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform third‑party software security evaluations for business teams.
• Apply security theories and concepts to technology reviews and risk assessments.
• Use Artificial Intelligence to solve business problems and increase operational efficiency.
• Own and improve existing business processes, identifying opportunities for automation.
• Participate in team meetings, represent the guild when needed, and drive independent initiatives.

Required profile

• Intermediate knowledge of information security, risk management, and data privacy in digital commerce.
• Understanding of identity management, user authentication, and authorization principles.
• Broad awareness of security engineering practices and web application security.
