Information Security Engineer (Generalist – AI & Automation Focus)

About the role

Atlas is looking for a hands‑on Information Security Engineer who will support daily security operations and drive AI‑focused security initiatives. The role combines traditional security domains with governance of generative AI, large language models and automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, triage incidents and lead response activities using SIEM, EDR/XDR and other platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation and track fixes across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Develop and enforce security controls for generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, bots and AI‑assisted development tools.
• Implement secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling, SAST/DAST/SCA and API security reviews.
• Automate security operations and evidence collection with Python, PowerShell, REST APIs and SOAR workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, incident response, vulnerability management or compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, DLP and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience developing AI agents or bots and familiarity with generative AI security risks.
• Prior exposure to regulated industries such as financial services or fintech is preferred.
