HR Product & Global Process Steering Expert – Payroll & Time

About the role

Join BASF’s new Global Hub in India as an HR Product and Global Process Steering Expert, focusing on Payroll and Time. You will shape and harmonise HR processes across talent acquisition, workforce management, payroll and time, ensuring they fit BASF’s enterprise architecture and transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Design, steer and continuously improve global HR process standards for TA, WFM, Payroll and Time.
• Own the HR service product portfolio, defining KPIs, controls, compliance requirements and global service definitions.
• Drive global consistency by influencing regional service hubs and leveraging communities such as HR Com+.
• Embed automation, RPA and AI‑driven solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Ensure process readiness and integration for major transformation programmes and system transitions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors).

Required profile

• Deep HR domain knowledge across Payroll, Time, Workforce Management or Talent Acquisition.
• Experience in global shared‑services transition or consolidation.
• Strong stakeholder influencing and decision‑making capability.
• Proven track record as a senior individual contributor.
