Head – Growth & Communities

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Growth & Communities to design, launch and scale owned travel and accessibility communities for TravelDham and Rising Star Khilte Chehre (RSKC). The role goes beyond routine social‑media moderation; it focuses on building communities from scratch, activating ambassadors, driving referrals and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch affinity‑based travel communities (e.g., women travellers, senior citizens, professionals, families, solo travellers) and accessibility‑focused groups for RSKC.
• Develop and execute member‑acquisition strategies through referrals, partnerships with RWAs, professional associations, influencers and events.
• Recruit, train and manage Community Captains / Ambassadors to sustain engagement between trips and campaigns.
• Create community‑led departure programmes and referral schemes that convert engagement into group bookings and repeat business.
• Strengthen volunteer, participant and partner networks for RSKC, fostering inclusion and long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate closely with Instagram, performance‑marketing, CRM and creative teams to align community initiatives with broader marketing efforts.
• Track and report on community growth, engagement, retention, referrals, enquiries and conversion metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience building or scaling communities, member networks, ambassador programmes, professional associations, travel clubs or social‑impact volunteer networks.
• Demonstrated ability to show start‑size, end‑size, time‑frame, acquisition channels, personal contribution and measurable outcomes (engagement, referrals, commercial results).
• Hands‑on mindset as a builder, operator and growth thinker rather than a moderator of existing groups.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced travel and accessibility environment with cross‑functional teams.
