About the role

As a Group FP&A professional at Barclays, you will develop and implement the bank's financial plans and stress‑testing methodologies, assessing resilience under various economic scenarios. You will provide financial expertise and support to business units, bridging the gap between financial data and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans and budgets for business units.
• Create financial models to forecast performance, assess investments and evaluate risks.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations.
• Support risk identification, assessment and mitigation, including training on risk management.
• Analyse and present financial data to highlight trends and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial planning processes.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and analytical work.
• Good business acumen, preferably with banking experience.
• Ability to manage risk, strengthen controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
