About the role
Databricks is building a finance function that leverages AI, automation and modern tooling to support its rapid growth. The Global SAP Consolidations Manager will own the end‑to‑end consolidation and intercompany accounting process across a 23‑entity global footprint, develop deep SAP Group Reporting expertise during the S/4HANA implementation, and establish a scalable organisational capability post‑go‑live.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the global consolidation process end‑to‑end, including intercompany reconciliation, elimination entries, currency translation and multi‑entity roll‑up.
- Lead multi‑GAAP close execution, producing parallel US GAAP and IFRS consolidated books each period and documenting reconciling differences.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for SAP Group Reporting, handling configuration, period‑end processing and ongoing optimisation.
- Manage intercompany accounting at scale, ensuring balances are reconciled, disputes resolved and elimination entries accurate.
- Perform monthly consolidation flux analysis and own FX translation, revaluation and CTA accounting across all international entities.
- Support new entity stand‑up, partnering with Tax, Legal and International Accounting to establish consolidation processes.
- Act as primary contact for internal and external audit on consolidation, intercompany and multi‑GAAP reporting matters, championing SOX compliance.
- Drive AI and automation adoption across consolidation workflows using the Databricks platform.
Required profile
- BA/BS degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in consolidation, intercompany or international accounting within a US multinational framework.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA certification (mandatory).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP consolidation (ASC 810, ASC 830) and working knowledge of IFRS consolidation (IFRS 10, IAS 21); multi‑GAAP reporting preferred.
- Extensive experience managing intercompany accounting, FX translation, functional currency assessment and CTA accounting.
- Proven track record of driving automation and process improvement in close operations.
- Experience supporting external audits and maintaining SOX controls.
- Ability to partner with remote teams across time zones, including US Pacific Time.
