Global Indirect Procurement Specialist – Travel & Fleet

About the role

3M is seeking a Global Indirect Procurement Specialist to lead travel, fleet, and related services procurement from its Global Capability Centre in India. This individual contributor role focuses on delivering cost savings, supplier consolidation, and value creation across a worldwide portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global sub‑category management for Fleet Cars, Fleet Services, Leasing Providers, Travel Services, and Meetings & Events.
• Develop and implement sub‑category strategies that support business continuity, resilience, and cost reduction.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, scorecards, performance reviews, and contract administration.
• Drive supplier consolidation, profitability improvement, free cash flow, and working capital goals through strategic sourcing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as EWS Travel, Fleet leaders, Finance, and regional teams to align priorities.
• Ensure suppliers deliver competitive pricing, high quality, strong service levels, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified prior to start).
• 10+ years of combined sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver results.
